Residential Roofing
What type of roof do you have at home? Do you want to update your roof? We’ve worked on many different types of roofs over the years. We are not a company that is fully committed to one particular type of roofing. Whether you happen to have tiles and want to install shingles or just want to find a way to be able to update your roof we are going to be able to help you out. Here are some other aspects of our roofing service that you may want to know before you make a decision on whether to request our services or not!
Updating Your Roofing There can be many reasons why you would do well to look into updating your roofing. The presence of leaks, for example, is not the only thing that can lead people to want to update their roof. If you’ve renovated the home, for example, the old roof may not go too well anymore with the look and feel of the home. If that is the case we can help you turn a more traditional looking roof into something that actually belongs in this century. Going From Tiles To Shingles or Viceversa If you have one type of roof could you update the roof and switch to a new main component? The short answer to this question is yes. The issue is that we are not always going to be able to just make a quick switch. This is mainly due to the actual base that your roofing is sitting on. We may have to update that frame to be able to make certain changes. This is of course something that we are going to be able to do. What we don’t want people to believe though is that it’s always going to be a simple process. If another company is promising that, you may want to watch out! Repair or Major Replacements Repairs and major replacements are always going to be on the table if you are working with us. One of the most difficult things though is to determine when one is a better idea over the other. What we will usually do after a thorough inspection is present to you the two options and what we believe the potential outcomes could be. That way you will be able to make an informed decision and not make a blind investment or anything like that. New Roofing or Old Roofing Techniques Roofing has changed quite a bit over the years. As roofers our job can get somewhat strange at times. We need to know roofing methods that were used in the ’60s, ‘70s, and ‘80s and beyond, so that if we ever come across a roof that was built in that era we know how we need to fix it or even replace it for being that old. At the same time, we are up to date with all of the newer roofing techniques that are showing up. |
